5 Elements Studio Policies
New Yoga Students
All new yoga students must first attend introduction workshop to attend open classes at the studio. Introduction Workshops are of various lengths and levels. Workshops are offered at different times of the year. Check web site and feel free to call Loren to be placed on update list of upcoming workshops. This is a small studio with limited capacity so it does not function as an open walk in studio but is kept for local practitioners of yoga.
Studio Yoga Policy
After attending introduction workshop students can attend open classes. Students must sign in on the website for open classes. Drop in is not possible even for open classes. You must always sign up first on the web site. Class limit is 8. Go to yoga schedule and member login to sign up.
Gate opens 20 minutes prior to class. Please do not arrive any earlier. Parking will be explained at initial workshop class. Always leave the left side of the driveway free for entry and exit.
Class begins in a quiet manner. Please come into this frame of mind once you enter the gate. I ask all students coming to yoga to use this as personal time. Not social time. This request is made to stay in the true spirit of yoga which is to draw ones energy internally so to create more self knowledge and a heightened sense of personal peace. Personal peace is the first foundational step to contributing to peace in the world.
If you are late to class please do not enter during our initial quiet meditation/intention practice. You are welcome to enter once we begin moving in our postural practice.
Please bring only the essentials into class. Space is limited.
Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Please come well hydrated as you will sweat a lot in class. Please bring a full bottle of water and a towel to wipe down with.
Please no cell phones or shoes in the studio.
All yoga props are provided for students but if you have your own yoga mat, or other props that you wish to practice with please bring to class.
Please do not drop by the studio. If you ever have questions about yoga, bodywork, products that are for sale or need to pick up a product that has been ordered please email or call to schedule a time to come by.
Bodywork Policy
Please call Loren to schedule first appointment at 340-998-1961.
Once appt. is scheduled please print and fill out bodytherapy intake form and bring to session. If you are unable to print please come 10 minutes early to fill one out. If I am in session there will be one waiting for you at the chair outside the studio.
The first sessions are a minimum of 90 minutes. Time will be taken at the beginning of the session to review health history and understand reason for visit.
If you arrive early and I am with another client still (curtains will be drawn) please do not knock on sliding door. Have a seat on the chair outside the studio and I will be with you shortly.
When parking on the parking pad in front of studio, please leave room for two cars.
Please no shoes or cell phones in studio.
Store Policy
Shopping Cart
All the items that you have in your shopping cart appear in your order during Checkout. If you do not want to order all the items, simply edit your shopping cart first and click "Update". When you click "Submit Order" we verify your credit card. Your order will not be placed and your credit card will not be charged if you do not click "Order Now."
Methods of payment
We accept cash, cheques and money orders but these orders will be in pending status until we receive cash, cheque or money order funds into our account. The 5 Elements Studio Online Shop accepts the following credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. If we are unable to process your credit card, please check to ensure you entered the correct card number and expiration date, and that the billing name and address you entered match your credit card statement exactly. Please refer to your credit card company if the problem persists.
We use the secured Paypal services for processing credit cards. If the email address you provide is already associated with a paypal account under that email address, paypal gives you the option to pay via your paypal account. If the email address you provide is not associated with a current paypal account, paypal gives you the option to use any visa or credit card, and you do not neet a paypal account to pay by credit card.
Tax policy
The Virgin Islands is a tax-free zone. We do not tax any products purchased in the Virgin Islands. Shop happy and free from taxes!
Returns and Exchanges
Event fees are not transferable or refundable except where noted in the individual event conditions.
Credit Card Safeguard
5 Elements Studio uses a Secure Internet Payment Gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorization of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the clients browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology. Client credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet and the only company who has access to this data is the merchants bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the clients browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.
